Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Signs of Autumn Writing Booklet

This seasonal resource is aimed at providing pupils in junior/middle classes with picture prompts for practising their descriptive writing skills. Each writing template contains an autumn-themed photograph as a writing prompt. Six prompt words are also included to assist the pupil to write about the photograph. The resource contains 17 different writing templates.

Book Review – Féile

I really enjoyed reading “Féile! A Twin Power Adventure” by Emma Larkin. It is about twins Aoife and Aidan Power who both love playing Gaelic Football. They are such a good team that their friends call them “Twin Power,” and they dream of playing in the big Féile competition. read more…
