Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….


Cén t-Am É?

These cards can be used for practice when pupils are learning to tell the time as Gaeilge. Each card is titled “Cén t-am é?” and includes one digital time. Every five minute interval time from 12:00 to 11:55 is included making 144 cards in the pack.

The Geography of Ireland Table Quiz, part of the forthcoming Geography of Ireland Resource Pack,  comprises eight rounds of six questions, a tie-break round, and answers to all questions on 131 Powerpoint slides. It could be used as a form of assessment after completing a unit of work on the geography of Ireland.
