Heroes of light and shadow is a really good book.It’s full of adventure and action. Set in Ireland,this story is about a young boy named Oisin Ryan.He goes on a school trip to a museum in Dublin where he overhears some strange men plotting to break into the museum at midnight. No one believes him when he tells them. So he goes back at midnight to look for himself.
To his surprise, they are not normal people but monsters with big horns and axes.
Oisin finds out that he is part of another world. He finds out that his uncle, who he never sees, is a famous mage. He has to help his uncle stop the monsters with horns from taking over the world.
What I liked best about the book was that there was always action, making it very hard to put the book down.
I would definitely recommend this book giving it 4.5 stars.
