This story is about a little girl (I’d like to know her name) and her uncle David who is going to be married to Simon.  When Ireland voted to say that two people of the same gender could marry they were glad as they could finally get married.  They also have a dog called Bear who is really big.  The little girl and Bear are going to be the ring bearers at the wedding but they lose the rings!

The little girl got Bear to sniff everywhere even on people. Finally they found where the ring was.  Firstly Uncle David and Simon walked down the aisle together and then the little girl and Bear walk down the aisle with the rings. After the uncles say yes they both put on the rings and kiss.  They had a really fun party afterwards with the wedding cake that had Uncle David, Uncle Simon and Bear on it.

I really liked this story. I like the way that two men got married and I also really like their colourful suits.  I would still like to know the little girl’s name and where her parents are. I thought the story was very funny especially when Bear was sniffing everyone. That was my favourite part.

I liked the way the little girl was so happy for her uncles.  The mystery of the missing rings was very exciting and funny when she found them. I recommend this story for all ages. My little brother Maitiú who is 7 also really liked it. I think it helps us understand that everyone is different and everyone has different choices. I would give it 11/10 stars.
