This seasonal literacy resource is aimed at pupils in middle and senior classes. It is intended to be used as a means of looking at the use of language, especially idioms and metaphoric language. It is a useful way of tying language into a lesson on the theme of Valentine’s Day and making pupils aware of how the word “Heart” can be used in many different ways.
