“Run Home Little Fox” is a picture book written by renowned wildlife writer Tom McCaughren (“Run Wild Series”) and childrens’ author Erika McGann (“Where are you Puffling?”). In this beautifully illustrated story McCaughren returns to writing about foxes, telling the tale of Foxy who lives at the end of the garden with his mum.

Foxy loves to listen to his mother tell tales of the wild wood and dreams about exploring the forest, chasing rabbits and earning his bushy red tail. When Foxy decides to set off on an adventure to explore the wild woods on his own he must be brave, cunning and quick to explore the woods and return home safely to his mum.

The story is brought to life by Shannon Bergin’s charming drawings. Bergin’s magical, eye-catching illustrations draw the reader into Foxy’s world and bring you along on his journey into the Wild Wood.

I read this book with my 6-year-old and he loved hearing about Foxy’s journey while my one-year-old loved looking at the beautiful pictures.

Nature lovers will enjoy this simple but captivating tale of Foxy’s adventures in the Wild Woods.
