Peg Numbers 05This resource is aimed at infant/middle or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on numeracy. It is based on the association of the numbers 10-20 with their equivalent word name. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into eleven separate cards. Pupils should look at the number on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct word on the right side of the card.

This activity is especially suitable for pupils who may not be able to write numbers but can read and match word to number. It is a way for them to demonstrate their conservation of number. It is also good for fine motor skills in the manipulation of the pegs onto the cards. This resource uses images from My Cute Graphics website.
