Web 2.0 in Infant Classes

by admin on 03/07/2012

VideoSome months ago, infant teacher Mary Jo Bell wrote a Guest Post on this blog about Infants and ICT which was well received at the time. Mary Jo has now teamed up with the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE) to produce a great video demonstrating the benefits of using Web 2.0 Technologies in the infant classroom. In the video Mary Jo mentions how she uses Audacity, Skype and Twitter in the infant classroom. She also cautions about being aware of Internet Safety when using Web 2.0 technologies. This video should encourage other teachers to tyr out some new technologies in the classroom, especially in infant classes.

Great Mary Jo thank you for this video.
