This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or pupils with speech and language difficulties. It focuses on the correct pronunciation of the initial hard “C” sound. This resource also aims to encourage the development of oral language skills.
In order for the resource to be used again and again with a pupil, it is suggested that all pages should be laminated and cut up into individual cards.
There are 20 individual cards in this pack and the Teacher/SNA should show cards to pupil, one at a time, and get them to say the word aloud, using the image as a prompt if they cannot yet read.
