These are tokens with an iPad motif to be used in conjunction with Token Board 01 or Token Board 02. Some pupils with special needs, perhaps especially those with autism, will work better towards a goal when there is positive reinforcement in the form of tokens earned by completing tasks. This is sometimes referred to as a “Token Economy”.
Sixteen tokens are included on the one page in this resource. The tokens should be laminated, cut out and backed with velcro. When the pupil has completed a task, they can affix a token onto the token board. When the required number of tokens has been earned, the pupil can get some time on an iPad.
Alternatively, the tokens could be used with a Choice Board, where the pupil can get access to an iPad for an agreed number of times during the day, as signified by the number of iPad tokens on the Choice Board.
