Peg Notation Boards 02

Peg Notation Boards 02This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on hundreds, tens and units. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into twenty separate cards. Pupils should work out the number that is represented on the notation board on the left side of each card and place a clothes peg on the correct number on the right of the card.

This activity is especially suitable for pupils who may not be able to write answers but can work out the numbers on notation boards. It is a way for them to demonstrate their understanding of the concept of HTU. It is also good for fine motor skills in the manipulation of the pegs onto the cards.
