by admin on 25/03/2013

Sea Life Food ChainThis Powerpoint resource for senior classes from Sea Life Bray focuses on food chains. It explains the different life processes that all animals have to carry out. As well as explaining what food chains are and showing examples of them, it also explains the vocabulary associated with them – producers, consumers, carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, predators, prey. It explains what food webs are and shows examples. It emphasises to pupils the effects that damaging the food chain can have on an animal or on another food chain.

The Powerpoint resource can be downloaded below together with a Teacher’s Resource Pack which accompanies all of the resources in this series. A Pupil Workbook to accompany all of the Sea Life resources in the series is also available below.
