General Election Poll

by admin on 08/02/2011

With the General Election now declared and the date set for February 25th, let’s get a snapshot of how teachers intend to vote. It might be an interesting exercise to see how the educational community as a bloc, through Seomra Ranga,  will cast their vote on Polling Day. It will also be interesting to see if the results are a barometer for the mood of the electorate as a whole. You do not need to sign up to anything to take part and it’s not necessary to provide your name or your email. All I ask is that teachers just vote once to give as accurate a picture as possible. You may only select one option, so vote for the party that you will give your No. 1 vote to in the election.

Just so people know. Fine Gael have said 3 spending cuts to every tax increase. Sure sign that we will decrease in our wages

Yes, I totally agree. Fine Gael are going to impose more cuts. The current party in Government have made the 4 year plan and made tough decisions, but the country is now showing improvements. Sinn Féin say they’ll send the IMF home… so we’ll be bankrupt by July!

Ha ha! Who voted fianna fail? 6 voters! PY decreases are inevitAble with any government anx don’t believe a party that tells you anything else? Let’s look for the pRty that priorities a different and reformed education system, one that starts with the kids and a bit of honesty.
